BarreSlim® classes are designed to increase the intensity of a normal barre class. on average you will burn about 20% more calories. The foundation lies in helping develop long, lean muscles, and burn unwanted fat. BarreSlim® classes guide you through moves that are laid out in a specific way that will keep your body and mind guessing to ensure you do not get bored, or hit a plateau. Additionally, you will also promote increased bone density which is ideal for all women, and you will strengthen your stabilizing muscles which helps with the prevention of injuries!

BarreSlim® is for women from any walk of life who are ready to make a change. This program was designed to promote natural and healthy weight loss.


Can I do BarreSlim® while pregnant?

Yes, you absolutely can. Only simple modifications will be needed depending on your pregnancy and your body. And best of all, BarreSlim® is perfect for helping you get your pre-pregnancy body without having to leave the comfort of your own home!

What if the workouts are too hard for me?

The program to be able to suit women of all fitness levels from very new beginners to advanced Barre students. The program was designed to help you master the very basics of each exercise first and then progresses you through to more challenging exercises.


Do I need a ballet barre to teach barre fitness?

No! While having a barre is GREAT, BarreSlim® was designed so that no equipment would be needed to participate in the workout. All of our workouts can be done with a freestanding portable barre, chair or counter top!


Is barre fitness a good fit for different age groups?

Yes! Barre as a fitness regimen is low or no-impact that is easily adjusted according to your individual capabilities. The average age of the students that participate in Barre is 25-55 years! We have even have ladies in their 70’s regularly enjoying the workout!
